Although not very popular with the crowds, one of the most famous person in the world of Computer Science is Richard Stallman. Not definitely attractive or charming, he is a tall and rather overweight man in his mid fifties. He has got a round face and brown long hair which he wears loose and plays around with while talking. He is always dressed casually with a large T-shirt; I have never seen him dressed in an elegant suit.
I first heard about him seven or eight years ago while I was searching the Internet for the history of the Linux operating system, the most well-known of the free operating systems out there. Even if he is not the author of Linux, it is thanks to his work and passion that Linux could come to exist. He is the founder of the Free Software Foundation, a no-profit organization which promotes the use and spread of free software. Most importantly, he is the inventor of the GPL license that allows free software to exist from a legal point of view.
He is a rather shy and reserved person but when it comes to his beliefs he becomes very confident. He has strong views about software and sometimes gets carried away in public talks and tends to become aggressive when defending his ideas. As computers become more and more predominant in our lives, he believes that software should be free to use and study for everyone. Free as in free speech, not free beer, he stresses. This is the reason why his foundation started the GNU project in the mid seventies. GNU is a free and complete alternative to Windows. Linux is just a piece of the GNU operating system that was developed in the early nineties by a Finnish student. Nowadays GNU, in conjunction with Linux, has become one of the most advanced operating systems and powers a great deal of the Internet servers and scientific super-computers.

Choose a person who matters to you. Do not simply pick a random subject. Focus on a person whose life has influenced you in some way. For instance, if you want to make movies for a living, maybe you want to research an actor you admire or a famous director. If you are thinking of a career in politics, perhaps you want to explore the life of an influential president or senator. If you are considering a sports career, you might want to focus on an athlete who inspires you to accomplish your goals. If you research a person you are interested in learning more about, you likely will be more committed to your topic, and this will show in your finished product.
Conduct Internet research. Today, most students use the Internet as their primary reference source. While this is perfectly acceptable, you need to be careful when it comes to the sources you use, especially when researching a celebrity. Be sure that the content you use is from a credible source, such as a reputable online newspaper, magazine or website. Do not simply access Google, type in the famous person's name and use the first five sources that pop up; instead, spend time researching the different listings to ensure you are using, reliable trustworthy sources. According to Purdue University's Online Writing Lab, students should never trust websites that rely on user-created content, as the content likely has not been validated by a reputable organization.
Conduct print research. Visit your local or school library. Ask the librarian to help you search the library database for autobiographies or biographies about the person you are researching. Many famous people have written comprehensive memoirs about their lives. Referencing these books can add a great deal of credibility to your writing.
Organize your research into an outline. Decide how to best structure your paper. For instance, you might be able to organize your research into sections about the person's early life, rise to fame and later years or you may want to analyze one specific component about his life. For instance, if you are interested in writing about Martin Luther King Jr. perhaps you would want to focus primarily about his famous "I Have a Dream" speech. The organization of your paper will depend upon your teacher's requirements, as well as the amount and type of research you have collected.
Write your first draft. Be sure to include a compelling introduction and an easily identifiable thesis statement that succinctly states what you are going to prove about your chosen person. Work on incorporating your sources by adding quotes and paraphrased references, being careful not to plagiarize.
Proofread and revise. Revision is one of the most important components of the writing process. Be sure to leave yourself enough time to edit and revise your paper after you write your first draft. Look for mistakes in spelling, grammar and punctuation. Pay attention to diction or word choice. Look for passive verbs that can be replaced with active verbs. Look for simple adjectives that can be replaced with more sophisticated language: for instance, instead of "very big," perhaps you can use "huge," "immense," or "enormous."Resources You May Also Like

First, I would like to be Bill Gates. I would be the richest person in the whole wide world because I would never have to worry about borrowing money. I would own Microsoft, which is the leader in the computer software industry. What if the stock market crashed? Then that would be a problem because I would then go bankrupt. In the mean time, I would rather be a basketball star.
I would like to be Michael Jordan, who is the best basketball player in many decades. Basketball would not be too hard because I play it in my leisure time. I would get money for entertaining the crowd with my three-pointers and dunks. Even though, I would not be as wealthy as Bill Gates, I would still become famous in basketball. I would also like to become famous in football.
I would choose to be Walter Payton if I became famous in football. Even though I risk my chances of getting hurt with my speed and size, I should be able to run over the tacklers and find my way into the end zone. Obviously, I am more physical but Bill Gates and Michael Jordan have more money then I do. I would enjoy becoming famous in baseball, too.

Well, I would get worn-out after a while so in addition, I would like becoming a rapper.
Finally, I would like to be Nelly. I know I would get famous after one hit song because I am well known. I would make plenty of cash for selling my music. Well, I guess it is up to me who I really want to be. Do I really know who I really want to be?

There are lots of things to think about when writing a paper about a famous person from history. Your teacher may have given you this assignment with exact instructions on who to write about and what information to include, or they may have just asked you to write about someone from history that you admire without telling you exactly what information to include. When writing the essay, take your time and rely on good information that you have collected from books and respected internet resources. Don’t underestimate the time you will need to edit your essay in order to have a final product that you can feel proud of.Steps Edit Part One of Three:
Read the assignment carefully. If your teacher has provided a handout of what they want from you, then read this handout very carefully. It probably includes all of the information you will need to get a good grade on your essay. If your teacher only told you about the essay assignment in class, hopefully you have taken notes on what you should be doing. If you didn’t take notes, go back to your teacher and politely ask them questions about the assignment to get all the instructions you need.
Choose a person that did a lot in their life. If you are able to choose who you write about, then think about it carefully. Don’t just pick the first person that comes to mind. Choose someone that is interesting to you personally. This will make learning about this person and writing your essay more fun.
Outline your essay. Sometimes it can be difficult to know how to get started on an essay. Writing an essay outline will help get you started and will also help you have a clear idea about what information you want to include.
Research the questions you want to answer in your essay. Now that you have outlined your essay, you can start finding out all the information you need to know to write your paper. This is called research. Start by searching the internet for information about your person. Don’t forget to search your school library for information.
Review other essays. Ask your teacher if they have an example essays that you can look through. Many teachers keep one or two really good essays written by past students.
Start with the body of the essay. In most cases, essays will be made up of three parts: the introduction, the body, and the conclusion. In the introduction you will introduce your person, and talk briefly about what you will be writing about. It's hard to write the introduction well if you haven’t written the body yet. This is because the introduction is suppose to be a preview of what’s in the rest of the essay. It will be easy to write the introduction if you first write the body.
Write the conclusion. The conclusion of the essay is where you will summarize everything you have written about this person in the body. In the conclusion you will not bring up anything new about the person. If you find yourself trying to include something new, then go back and find a place to include this in the body of the paper.
Finish your first draft by writing the introduction. Now that you have written the body and conclusion of the paper, you will have no problem writing the introduction. In this section, introduce the person you are writing about, and state what they were most famous for. Then, in a few sentences, outline what you will be talking about.
Write a second draft. What you have written now is considered the “first draft” or “rough draft.” In the first draft there is no reason to worry about spelling, grammar, or sentence structure. The idea is simply to get all of the things you want to say down on paper. After you have finished the first draft, you can begin on the second draft.
Ask someone to proof read your essay. You can ask a friend, a parent, or other family member, but try to choose someone you know will really spend time checking your paper for errors, and will also pay attention to what you've written. A lazy friend might glance through your essay for spelling errors. However, what you really want is someone who will evaluate what you’ve written to point out places where you can improve.
Proof read the essay on your own. After you have made any corrections or changes based on the feedback from your helper, go back and proof read your own essay. Try to pretend that you are reading this for the first time, and that you are reading someone else’s essay.
Read the essay backwards. It may sound strange, but reading the essay backwards sentence by sentence helps you to focus on each sentence. This will make it easier to catch mistakes.
Type your final draft. Once you are satisfied with your work, prepare your final draft. If you have only handwritten your essay, then you will need to type the entire thing on the computer. If you already have a computerized draft, then you don’t need to re-type the entire essay, but go through and fix any mistakes that you noticed.
While the free essays can give you inspiration for writing, they cannot be used 'as is' because they will not meet your assignment's requirements. If you are in a time crunch, then you need a custom written term paper on your subject (river phoenix my favorite famous person)
Here you can hire an independent writer/researcher to custom write you an authentic essay to your specifications that will pass any plagiarism test (e.g. Turnitin). Waste no more time!
Do you like to see the movies? Do you know the most handsome boy in Hollywood? Though the handsome boy that everyone thinks can be different. I think that River Phoenix is the movie star who is just the right man who sparkled in Hollywood even if he doesnt exist in this world and there are a large number of actors and they appear in the future. Why he is famous is because of his too early death and because he played brilliant roles in many movies for his short life. When I saw his movie for the first time, Ive got crush on him. I think that he had something special which appeal to us.
At first, his background is interesting. He was born on August 23, 1970 in a small house in Oregon. He was firstborn child of five children. During his childhood, his parents joined a cult known as the children of God and traveled extensively until when they heard disturbing news about the leader. Since then, as they werent protected by the church any more and were in a desperate struggle to make ends meet, River, at age five, often sang and played music in the streets to earn the money.
In the early morning of October 31, 1993, River took a lethal dose of a mix of drugs and died on the sidewalk outside. He was only 23 years old.
Second, he achieved success in many movies and received many awards. At the age of 10, he started to play on TV shows and his first appearing in film is Explorers in 1985. The next movie which is most famous of his movies and led him to be a star is Stand By Me. The story is about four boys journey to find the

It is just a fact we all must die! Some of us are afraid of the uncertainty that death brings. Therefore, it is regarded as an enemy, a tragedy, and the unavoidable downside of life. Others live day by day knowing that death will come, but they have no fear. They are not in a hurry to meet him, b
