The Perfect School For An Ideal Education

My idea of an ideal high school is one that students are proud of at the same time receive a good education. To achieve this a school would need to have good teachers qualified in the field in which they teach. Class sizes would have to be reduced to around twenty-five students this way teachers could be more personal with their students. Teachers would have access to any materials or resources needed to do their job. Last but not least the school would have to be appealing to the students and offer a pleasant environment.

In high school I had a Government teacher named Mr. Bjorkman. He was also the coach for our varsity football team. You could tell he didn?t know what he was teaching and was more focused on football. I didn?t learn a single thing from his class. This is why a school would need to have qualified teachers in their classrooms. Students have different learning styles. Some are visual while others are auditorial in some cases students may have a learning disorder. I have ADHD which is a learning disorder. Before I received treatment I had a hard time paying attention and it also caused me to act up on occasion. My teachers thought I was a troublemaker so they always kicked me out of class. I wasn?t given the opportunity to learn as much as the other students at my school. Not because I was a bad student but because not one teacher took the time to try and help. This is why I believe a teacher needs to be able to distinguish between the two learning styles and disorders so all their students receive an education.

At my school there were days I sat on the floor because a classroom was missing desks. At times we were unable to locate a television and VCR to watch educational shows. You can?t fix a car without having the right tools. The same goes for teaching. In order for students to reach their full potential you cannot deny teachers the materials needed to do their job properly. This is why a school needs to provide its teachers with whatever they need.

I believe class sizes are an issue with all schools. Large class sizes make it difficult for teachers to get to know their students. It also makes it hard to get everyone involved in the class. When students aren?t involved they get bored. When they get bored they don?t want to be there so they skip school. A school would need to have a sufficient amount of classrooms and teachers. This would make it possible to bring the student to teacher ratio down to around twenty-five students per every teacher. With smaller classes it would be easier for the teachers to get everyone involved. It would also give the teachers a chance to get to know their students and make sure their keeping up with the rest of the class. If teachers knew their students it might encourage the kids to go to class because the teacher would notice if they weren?t in class.

I think a school should be clean and have curb appeal. No one wants to go to a dirty run down school. I believe it is important to put some thought into the colors picked for the interior of buildings. Different combinations of colors give off

different vibes. I would pick a color scheme that gave off a good vibe. Every part of the school would be carpeted because it looks nicer than vinyl floors in my opinion. The school would have lots of windows and skylights in the classrooms. I would do this to bring in the sunlight because it gives you energy and makes people happy. The temperature would be set just right so that all the students were comfortable. Couches would be set up all over the campus so students have a place to hang out

during breaks. The last thing done would be to make sure nice grass and big trees surrounded the school. This would be done because people feel more alive when green trees and grass surround them.

By bringing in the sunlight putting thought into the color scheme and surrounding the school with grass makes it appealing. What the students don?t know is that it?s all done to provide a feeling of safety and comfort to make them feel alive so they enjoy being there. The number one goal for any school should be to provide its students with the best education possible. By providing good teachers with the tools and reducing the size of classes you?re putting the responsibility onto the shoulders of the students. It is then up to the students to decide if they want to accept the responsibility and take advantage of the opportunity of getting an education.

    My Ideal School

At the moment, I go to a small school, which is located near our town boundary. It is quite a good school, but obviously it could be better! In this essay, I am going to describe my ideal school.
My ideal school would be near to the town centre, so that students would not be too far away from society, but certainly not in the downtown because it is too noisy area. There would be a large coffee bar were we could get together during breaks. My school would also have computers in all classrooms. Another thing would be a music studio where we could play and record music. And there would also be a musician corner or room where would be available piano and other instruments. I would also like to have a jukebox in my ideal school. Another thing would be a huge library where you could find both textbooks and deluxe editions of books in foreign languages.

    My Ideal School

My ideal school would be in Virginia, around the Lake Anna area. A school day would consist of 9 periods. Classes would range from Chemistry to Phys. Ed. to even Life Skills. Once a week they would have an "Outdoor Day" where all we do is DNR associated activities. We would strive for excellence in every department along with wildlife protection. My school would be the Lake Anna Pike.

The classes in my school would need at least 80% grades or better, but would not have written test. Tests would be taken hands-on in situations like the student's prefered job area. The students would have the option of not taking finals if they were in the category of 95% or higher. We encourage learning by the experience, not just by the book. Some classes like english and math where it's hard to learn by experience, would be a practice based class as well, just with paper and pencil.

Breakfast and lunch programs would be nutritional and homemade food choice based. We would encourage grilled and baked food choices made by hand by caring lunch staff. We say "yes" to more fruit and vegetable choices, along with more milk, tea, and juice choices offered. We are not saying, "I want steak and potatoes every day." but we want real meat for every meal. We want students to give an 8 or better for every meal.

The teachers at Lake Anna would apply to the student board, not the school board for their jobs. We feel like the students need to feel a bond to the people responsible for their education. We feel like the teachers would also create a bond with the students for a more one on one experience. We feel like if the teachers were like the three in our english department, they would have an amazing experience throughout school. The experience is half of school.

We believe that sports and the arts are a very important part of life. If you never try, how do you know you will not succeed? Our answer is you have to try first. We strongly encourage students to join either program or both! Activities are a great part of the development of responsibility and loyalty. They also help keep the participants out of trouble. We hired the best coaches we could for the students, to give them the best chance at being number one in every sport they participate in. We encourage earning praise and glory in every activity.

In conclusion we would like to tell you how to apply for Lake Anna Community School System. You start by going to Facebook.com and liking us! Then go to www.Twitter.com/MKnapp76 and clicking follow! You should receive a notification within a few days. It is straightforward, your response is a yes or no. You will not regret making a trip to check us out or maybe check out our great programs to start similar systems in your school! We appreciate your time and value your opinion! ” I think, Che was not only the intellectual, but also the most complete person of our epoch.” Jean-Paul Sartre. This is a short essay about Che Guevara's life. It was made in order to obtain a good grade for my Writing English class, and, because I had wanted to know more about this man. I decided to talk about him, because I think he is a perfect example of a man who never gives up, no matter what, that believes in equality for everyone and that is disposed to die, if he has to defend his ideals. Nowadays, Che Guevara becomes a legend. I am going to talk about his life, and how he died for the world deeply convincing in his thoughts. He reflected of his mission in this life like helping out others to be free and to get their rights back from oppressive governments, and even though of his failure, his ideals are still alive. Ernesto Guevara was born on June 14th, 1928 in Argentina. His parents were members of privileged middle class. Elder Guevara engaged in a campaign t.

A short time after the first colonists came to the territory, which we now call Massachusetts, the General Court of Massachusetts made the first contribution for Harvard College. It was in 1636. This school later became the famous Harvard University. It is the oldest university in the United States. It was named in honor of John Harvard, who died in 1638. This man left his library and half of his property to the university. People knew that the future of the new country depended on education. And after the establishment of Harvard they began to establish other schools. In 1776 the Americans declared their independence. By this time nine other institutions were opened. Their present names and the dates of their opening are: College of Willian and Mary (1693). Yale University (1701). Princeton University (1746). Washington and Lee University (1749). Columbia University (1754). University of Pensilvania (1755). Brown University (1764). Rutgers College (1766). Dartmouth College (1770).

The life and work of the self-employed socialist intellectual, Humphrey McQueen (essay) There is a tradition in academia of dedicating to veteran or retiring scholars a "feschrift", which is usually a collection of essays by other scholars about the scholar`s chosen field and their contribution to it. Humphrey McQueen has done his prolific and wide-ranging intellectual work mainly outside academe, and is a self-employed freelance historian and journalist, so he has no institution to give him a feschrift, but some of his writing is available on the web, so Ozleft has put together a list of this material as a kind of virtual feschrift. This is not to suggest that Humphrey may be about to retire, as he shows no sign of running out of intellectual steam and he has no great pot of superannuation to live on in any case. In fact, circumstances have made him into John Howard and Peter Costello`s ideal citizen: he is forced both by economic necessity and by the passionate nature of his intellectual.

60 Introduction Every weeknight when I turn on the TV to watch CSI I mute the ads. I see SUV ads, Vonage ads, Pepsi and whatever other stuff theyre trying to sell me. When I check my email (I have a Gmail account), I usually have 1 or 2 new spam in my inbox, and about 120 new spams in my spambox. At the end of the month, my spambox auto-deletes all spam over a month old. I currently have over 4000 spams in there. I check any new spams as spam and then go about my business of answering emails/hatemail. Then I read an interesting statistic: Advertising profits have slumped during the last three years in the United States. That doesnt mean that advertising companies are going bankrupt (although some of them might eventually), what it means is that companies that are advertising dont seem to be making as many sales. For example, if the Widget Company spends $100 million on a new advertising campaign and usually makes about $500 million in profits, whats happened.

This character, a man named Evgeny Bazarov and the enigma of his person have fueled limitless debates on the true essence of this figure, as it was intended by the author. As Socrates said, “Amid the argumentation, the truth is found”, so let this modest contribution to the seemingly endless discussion of Bazarov bring us perhaps one small step closer to the truth about this mysterious man and his true essence. What is Bazarov? Was he doomed to purgation of his theories, or was he a luminary worthy of respect and credence? Evgeny Bazarov was born into a family of a modest provincial doctor. Turgenev provides no information about Bazarov’s life before his arrival in Ma.

In my ideal school there would be fifty classes with complete accessories (computers, calculators, internet, stationary. ). The school would have three floors and on the first floor there would be a gym and there would also be a pool on this floor. In the corridor would be automat for coffee, tea and other drinks. On the second floor, would be Math class and Science class. In the Math class there would be a board and desks. On the teacher's desk would be a computer and TV. In the science class there would be special desks and many tools for students to work with. Also there would be laptops for students, to use to find information. In the corridor we would have tables and chairs and photos of famous professors.
Moreover, on the third floor there would be more than one language class. That the student could choose to learn, like Arabic, English and French. In every class there would be interactive whitebeards and on the desks there would be computers, to help students communicate with other students, in different countries.
Lessons would take fifty minutes and breaks would be thirty minutes. Students could buy food in school canteen and sits on the comfortable sofa, not on the typical wooden chair. There wouldn't be mid-term exams, just tests and quizzes. The teachers would be smiling and this school would be full of kindhearted people who would be my friends.
I adore this school because you can ACTUALLY learn something you use in life.
